On the memorable evening of March 5th, 2024, the highly anticipated second edition of The EMMAs took place, shining a spotlight on the extraordinary events crafted by charities and their dedicated suppliers. The event for charity sector events workers is uniquely free to nominate and free to attend. Notably, every penny of income generated by The EMMAs by way of sponsorship is reinvested into the evening, furthering its commitment to its noble cause.
Sponsors included Natural History Museum, Options Great Hire, Majestic Wine, Event Concept, So Good Sake, EMMA-Live, Coveted Creates all of whom offered free or discounted services to support the 200+ charity event guests.
Featuring a distinguished panel of judges, including the CEO of Marie Curie – Matthew Reed, the Head of Venues and Events at The Natural History Museum – Robert Wetherell, and the Managing Director of Coveted Creates – Rebecca Elcome, the event attracted over 200 attendees eager to celebrate the outstanding events produced between March 2023 and February 2023.
The EMMAs not only applaud remarkable events but also recognise the remarkable individuals behind them. From captivating charity galas and auctions to exhilarating sports days and immersive experiences, these dedicated individuals labour tirelessly to craft experiences that captivate and inspire donors and supporters alike.
The atmosphere of the evening was electric as attendees cheered on the deserving winners, announced by the event's esteemed host, Natasha Kaplinsky OBE. The night was embellished with enchanting musical performances and captivating entertainment by a close-up magician and tarot card reader.
Reflecting on the event, host Natasha Kaplinsky OBE said, "What an electrifying evening it was at the EMMAs. Chosen by a panel of judges who evaluated each category based on criteria including creativity, innovation, impact, and overall success, the winners showcased a steadfast commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation and creativity in event planning.
